So it looks like the Maldives Aggressor is no more. So looking at the palau aggressor. Have seen couple of reviews that basically the food is good, the boat clean but the service and attitude of dive master and capt. sucked. Are there any other opinions/reviews/thoughts to share?

And thanks to those who shared info about Maldives.

I was on the Palau Aggressor April 2012. The ship was truly 5 star in every sense: food, comfort, facilities etc. As for the crew - well for the European sensibility they are very "American" in their attitude. Yes Sir, no Sir etc. There was also a lot of selling on board, videos, pictures, t-shirts, courses etc etc. But overall the professionalism and quality of service cannot be faulted

I was there in late 2012 but the entire crew except Hector the engineer and one of the stewardesses is new since then.

I dove with them in December of 2015. The captain did seem a bit tired/exhausted but it did not affect the quality of the service. The dive masters were very good and the dive operation was as well organized as the two other Aggressors I have been on (Komodo and Raja Ampat). The rooms were bigger and cleaner than the two others. Food was good as far as liveaboard go, no complaints.

I really loved that on most days there were 5 dives offered. Even with such a tight schedule we were able to typically have 70+ minute dives and were never rushed by the divemasters. The dive skiff is very nice; it sits in a cradle that is hydraulically lifted out of the water so getting in and out is never a problem even in rough seas.

I really wished they would pushed dinner later, after the 5th dive. Dinner was served after dive 4, which means no wine or beer with your meal. It's a minor annoyance but something that could have been easily fixed by a change in the schedule. I suppose they do it this way because guests not doing the night dive would complain about having to wait later to eat.
