I just tried to get on their forum to see what was being said but was greeted with a MySQL error. Has anyone been on there lately?

on the forum but according to the mail version everything is still as was. Some very interesting articles

i thought this happened last year? the Ninth Circuit ruled in August, i think...
and that was the "second suit" (i.e. the appeal)

[edit] sorry, make that July, 2005. here's the case:

Page 5 is the meat of the case. Diverlink has 47 U.S.C. sec. 230(c)(1)
immunity.

case over

It is old news. PADI lost the appeal then they filed a motion for the Ninth Circuit to reconsider their ruling. That motion was rejected. PADI paid Diverlink's legal fees of $311,186.63 in three installments. The first payment was made on November 15, 2005. The final payment was made on January 13 of this year. They paid my legal fees of approximately $3,000 a couple years ago about the time the District Court made it's original ruling. I don't know how much PADI's lawyers charged them for this case, but it has certainly cost them a great deal to attempt to hide the truth.

Pete, I haven't been able to access the DL forum for a few months. The rest of the site is up and running.

Such a shame... that's where I met MB... well actually I met him at Blue Spring on a dive with Walter, but he and Walter met there first.
