PADI IDC on Grand Cayman

I am looking to see if anybody knows of any PADI course directors on Grand Cayman that run IDC's ? I would love to complete my IDC down there as this is where i would really love to work.

I would appreciate it if you could help me out.

My vote is for Ocean Frontiers (www.oceanfrontiers.com) and Dive Tech (www.divetech.com). If memory serves me correctly, they both run IDCs. We have dived with each of them several times and have been impressed with their operations.

How soon can you go? Cayman Diving College/Divers Down has an IDC starting this month.
Cayman Diving College, from Open Water Diver to Instructors Development Courses.

Divetech don't run IDC's and I don't believe that Sunset House has run one for a long time.
As far as I know Cayman Diving College (CD Ash McKnight) and Ocean Frontiers are the only operations currently running IDC's here on a regular basis.
Cayman Diving College have at least 3 or 4 every year and Ocean Frontiers seem to do 1 or 2.

Somebody else hit this nail exactly on the head! There will be an IE on Grand Cayman on February 3 & 4, so both Cayman Diving College (http://www.diversdown.net/_nsgopro-cdc.htm) and Ocean Frontiers (http://www.oceanfrontiers.com/files/CIDin/PGNin-PADI_IDC) have IDC's starting later in January to mesh with those IE dates. I know the people who run both of those programs, and I know you can't go wrong with either one.

I checked, and Sunset House is now also a 5 Star IDC. That must be a recent development, because I know it wasn't the case a few years ago. They too have an IDC starting April 20. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with their "guest" CD.

I'd like to put in a plug for TJ and OF.

My family has dived with OF numerous times. Back in January 2007 I noticed that all the OF folks were diving backplate/wing setups and I was peppering TJ with questions about them. The next day, I got on the boat and TJ pointed to a BP/W setup and said she had brought it from the shop for me to try.

This is typical of the way OF has been every time we have dived with them. I can't say enough about them.

My name is Matt, I just recently completed an IDC with Cayman Diving College in Grand Cayman. I was taught by Ash Mcknight ( ash@caymandivingcollege.com ) where I learned loads during the IDC and afterwards with the specialties. If you are looking for work I would highly recommend doing your IDC with Ash since he helped me with finding employment. I was offered a couple of jobs even before the course was over. Every one else on the class also found employment with Ash's help.
