In fact, your specialty courses will enhance your aow experience. You will still do the dives, but get more out of them. As to the 60 foot level, you aren't bound to it, if your skills and comfort level are sufficeint to dive deeper, as long as you are within the recreational limit.

Yes Sir...I just want to develope my skills to a certain point and then take those skills down.!!!
There a lots of PADI specialties that I am interested in, I just want to get those core skills that I
mentioned and then get my DEEP DIVER.. This year at my LDS the specialties that I mentioned happen
almost every 4-5 weeks.. Deep Diver is in Mid October......(That will be COLD in Canada)

You don't 'pay for the card' - you pay for a course of training...and all the skills and knowledge that comes with it. The card is merely something that proves you did the training.

Hi Devon
So If I NEVER pay for the Adventures in Diving or Advanced Open Water (But accumulate those dives, as I plan)
Padi is still going to send my Cert-Card free of Charge? Is that Correct?

I will have PPB, Nav, Night, Drift, Deep!

Thanks Wingnut
