Sorry I that was suppose to be Adventure Diver...Quero you are very right,there could be a miss understanding here.
I Understand that by taking the Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Those Dives Go towards your Specialties.
So Why then would the Specialty dives not go towards your AOW?

They wlll, obviously. That's why I think there's some misunderstanding. Whoever answered your email either didn't understand your question or just read through the email too quickly to see that your question is different from the usual ones they must get all the time and then gave a stock reply.

I don't want anyone to thing I am PADI bashing, I chose Padi, there are other games in town.
and if i have to do one night,nav,drift,ppb training dive agian to do the the one Dive to 80fsw So be it.
The flow chart does say you have to have AD or AOW to do the Deep Specialty SO?

I got my information straight from the Instructor Manual for Specialty courses. Those are the official standards, and they state that the minimum cert to enrol in the Deep Spec course is Adventure Diver.

The pre-req for PADI Rescue is Adventure Diver with Nav. The student would have to have the official cert, and thus the card. So if a student is paying the certification fee anyway for Adventure Diver, s/he may as well just do the remaining two dives and finish up the entire AOW.

You don't 'pay for the card' - you pay for a course of training...and all the skills and knowledge that comes with it. The card is merely something that proves you did the training.

In order to progress to Deep and/or Rescue training, it makes sense to have a wider breadth of skills, knowledge and experience... beyond the bare minimum taught on an OW course. Whilst some divers may have exceptional natural skills underwater, or may gain a lot of diving experience prior to progressing from OW level, most divers don't. Having a progressive system of diving education ensures that all divers advance through the stages of their training in a logical and complete manner.

Over-confidence is common in novice divers - because the underwater environment is seemingly very benign. What it seems, and what it is, is a different matter. That is why education is so vital.

In addition to Andy's points above, the Rescue course requires swimming a search pattern. Without the background the Nav dive gives, the task loading would be even greater, and the student may not be able to focus on the rescue for being worried about the navigation! It makes sense to require a bit more expertise before moving on to Rescue. But of course, some divers accumulate that expertise by doing lots of diving.

I had MISREAD the Email sent to me and was disappointed.

In fact, your specialty courses will enhance your aow experience. You will still do the dives, but get more out of them. As to the 60 foot level, you aren't bound to it, if your skills and comfort level are sufficeint to dive deeper, as long as you are within the recreational limit. My first dive following certification ( which was with my certifying instructor) was to 79 feet, because that's where the object of the dive was to be found. My wife and dive buddy has close to 200 dives, of which more than half are deep dives. She has an open water certification, but dives with me.
