Paco De Lucia passes in Cancun

This is not exactly a diving thread, but one of the greatest guitarists in history died of a heart attack in Cancun yesterday. As a guitarist, to me this was a really sad and unexpected bit of news. Paco De Lucia was a genius in flamenco music, kind of re-defined the genre, and had long resided in the Playa Del Carmen/Tulum area.

It's a real shame. The world sucks a little bit more now. I had the privilege of seeing him live several years ago and it was one of the most beautiful things i ever heard
