The flights are not part of our package deal. Members are coming from different airlines from different places.
So posting airline website info doesn't always clarify things for each person's own baggage. So please visit your airline/airlines website and call them if you have a question.

Well, this SUCKS 16 ways to forever!
They just emailed me that the Saturday Flight 123 to Cayman Brac is CANCELLED. If you thought you and 20 others were flying out in a JET on Saturday morning, we are now going through Grand Cayman.
Anyone who THOUGHT they were going to land near noon is NOT going to get there until 3:25pm. Oh, about that FOOD??
Lastly, the flight is now:

I have been waiting to post about the Cayman Airlines cancelling the Non-stop from Miami.
We found out about this about 3 hrs ago. Since then we have been working with the help of Bay Adventures to get ALL SURGE MEMBERS a way into Cayman Brac. At this time we believe all members have flights, but are waiting confirmation from 6 members.
I had hoped to wait and post after I was 100% sure but since it has now publicly been posted I wanted everyone to know where we stand.
I know that many will next turn to the smaller plane baggage issue.....In my opinion they should honor the baggage policy for the jet since it is their issue. However I do not run the airline, so you may want to ask the airlines directly.
I want to give HUGE kudos to Bay Adventures for helping make this as smooth as possible.

After fire truck flips on runway, Brac airport still closed to jets

A fire trunk is in ruins after flipping over on Cayman Brac's only runway.
Cayman Brac’s airport will remain closed to jet traffic until a new fire truck is shipped to the island to replace the vehicle that flipped over on the runway Thursday.
Cayman Airways, the only operator which flies jet aircraft into the Brac, was forced to cancel flights and reshuffle its schedule over the weekend. The smaller Twin-Otter and Saab prop planes which service the route between the Brac and Grand Cayman are still able to land and were deployed to minimize passenger disruption.
Air safety guidelines require at least two fire trucks to be on standby for a jet to be able to land, officials said.
Fire and airport officials are “in the process of identifying an interim strategy that will support the resumption of jet services at the earliest opportunity,” according to a government statement Friday evening.

Dammit! I noticed that my flight crew stuff was wrong and meant to call bay adventure to make sure they pick us up. We are super screwed, as it looks like we are spending the night in gc.
