Your right, we will never be 100% safe.
What about the guy in the parking lot adjacent to the airport with a rocket launcher, Or the corupted food service, or the Car bomb at the shopping mall.

I guess we just have to hope that the hatred towards us will eventually disappear, (gee that reminds me of another thread... )

us. It's hatred of the infidel....that includes anyone
who isn't Moslum. Russians, Australians, Israelies,
Indonesians [non-Moslum ones] and Hindu Indians.
This is a relegious was like or not.

Bring it on.

Curious: Why wouldn't you tell the airline that you are bringing scuba equipment??

I have flown to Mexico, and 3 times Florida,... in the last year and never had a problem.

They have never asked even when I've exceeded the weight limit. If they do though, I've heard that you just say it's sporting equipment, and there is no weight restriction.

Also I normally bring my Reg, Computer and dive camera in my carry on travelling to the destination, and have never even been questioned when it goes through the xray... well once,... but that's cause Ihad a flask of Spiced Rum (they thought it looked wierd).
