Has anyone dived the US Submarine the P555 out of Portland or Weymouth?
Any info would be appreciated, she is intact and in about 45-50m of water but that is all I know.
Does anyone know charter boats that go out to her in November as they usuall ones we use only do inshore dives from the end of October onwards.
Cheers.

Blimey, I guess that means no, anybody want to dive it then, when I find a decent charter boat and more info on her?

Hey there,

maybe if you post this in the UK forum you may get a better response

I haven't dive it so I can tell you anything - sorry!

I have dived it a couple of times. it sits upright in 46m of water on a shingle bed. good life on it and the deck is starting to break down, so there are some holes to look through. otherwise it's a submarine....once you see one....
regarding charters, the weather is so volatile in Autumn/Winter that most boats do not plan anything and wait to see what it looks like on the day.

www.divedorset.com
has some information and pictures.
cheers
