Every Luxfer comes with a "warning" sticker - big long paragraph disclaimer. You can read the text but the bottom line is:
The green border ones are factory O2 clean.
The red border ones are for air.

I would still wash it regardless of what Luxfer says, its cheap and easy to do. Its my life if the damn thing catches fire, I'd prefer to take responsibility for it instead of replying on Luxfer.

So...we've got two people each claiming to know for sure completely opposite facts, and one of them is trying to hawk his wares, and he can't figure out what < or > =... I don't know if this thread is > other threads about stage bottles, but it sure is amusing in its own subtle way.

[edit] I guess not completely opposite facts, just one claims cylinders have to be special ordered to come o2 clean and another claims all of them come that way. Superlyte, can you find any documentation on the tank itself specifying that it is o2 clean? When you order tanks from your supplier, do you have to specify that the tanks be o2 clean? Why are you unwilling to post this information here and only through pm's?

I'll send the info to whomever wants it. I don't know how to email or fax to here, lol. And it's not scanned in or anything.

As far as trying to hock my wares... for those of you in the know, at $140, i'm making $2 dollars on the sale.

Yup, out of the goodness of my heart, if you come back, I can make some money on lights, computers, regs, etc. But no one makes money on aluminum tanks.

*also, not claiming all the tanks come that way, but all the tanks shipped to me have come that way. Not sure if this was due to salesman knowing us for the last 30'ish years, or what.

I didn't claim you were trying to make ridiculous profits on your wares, just that you were selling them. Or, atleast, advertising your stuff for sale in a thread where the user did not ask where to buy an o2 clean bottle, but infact informed you that he had just bought one. ;)

providing a public service. :)

If it were anything but that, like making mad profits on bc's or lights, I wouldn't have posted.
