Dear Scuba Board Buddies,

Thank you everyone for your help and words of advice in helping me choose the right BC for me.

I wanted to let everyone know I finally decided on the OxyCheq (and ordered it several days ago). In fact, it arrived today!!!

Sooo....now all I need to do is figure out how to put it together...the harness is already attached to the backplate but that is it. If anyone knows of good directions somewhere or has other pointers it would be much appreciated.

Thanks again everyone! You're terrific!

I'm looking forward to diving with my very own personal equipment!

Happy Diving and Happy Holidays!

Sneha

Hi
I dive in New england, which is I believe as chilly as the waters of SD. I bought a Oxycheq wing (45lbs) and a transplate harness from dive rite (so basically combining the two options that you wanted to choose from), with an aluminium backplate (nice for travelling). While I could have bough the dive rite harness, which is slightly less fancy and a bit more expensive, I really love this combination. With my 180lbs, I only need 20-22lbs of weight, and the balance is perfect
