They've been threatening to update the Oxycheq site sinc DEMA, but I still haven't seen it....

I spoke with Chris at COVCI this afternoon with interest on the "O-Pac" for tropic travel. He said he will forward pictures to me this evening for inspection. Supposedly the first batch of these new plates are being delivered today. Chris still has one of the prototypes and will use that for the pictures.

I will post them as soon as he forwards them to me, if your interested.

Chris is saying that the plate weighs in at about 1.5# without the hardware (d-rings, buckle etc) and is neutral in the water. He was very impressed with it on the testing dives.

A shot of the production model that is now for sale...

Right on!!

That back pad is kind of "fluffy" isn't? I can see that being taken off right away. I'm assuming those are velcro strips to fasten the pad?

three vertical strips of hook and loop (velcro) tape hold the backpad in place.

Easy to remove or replace.

Chris

but COVCI I was just wondering
if you were still having a demo day in North Florida

November got hijacked by PSI classes being taught in Cleveland and a trip to Abaco Bahamas...so...

I am currently looking at Panama City Beach, FL in December...

I will keep you posted.

Chris
