My friend has a ski boat (ie. not an off-shore Boston Whaler).
He fishes in the rivers, the intercoastal, and he's been a few miles off-shore.
Where (preferrably Central Fl) can he take it to do some diving off of it?
Anyone else here own their own small boat and use it for diving?

Tanks (80Al, that is),

NOONE owns a non-dive boat and does ANY diving off of it?
This is FLORIDA ppl! You ALL have boats! lol.

hit the fort pierce area when seas are two ft and less. there is a good ramp on seaway drive , that would be on the south causeway just over the bridge on the left. the area between the north and south causeways are manattee zones so watch your speed. on the gulf side i like running out of tampa bay and hitting nearshore wrecks and reefs. i use a small 16 foot key largo with a fifty horse kicker and it gets me and one other diver up to ten miles out when conditions are ideal.

What was the best dive you did off your boat in the Gulf?
