overnight hotel near Taipei airport?

Looks as if we will have to overnight in Taipei on our way to Bali- maybe it will be fun..?

It's only for 12 hours so we don't want to stray too far from the airport- does anyone have any advice for a good hotel choice?

I can't help you on hotels near the airport, but if the layover gives you time during the day, there are lots of interesting sightseeing to be done in Taipei from temples and museums to the Taipei 101 (currently the world's tallest skyscraper).

Maybe post over in the general Asia forum and you'll probably get more feedback on hotels.

Heavens to Betsy you do have a good point there, Pakman!

I must have been hallucinating that I was in the Asia forum before the Indonesia section was created!

Unfortunately I'll be in Taipei from 10 PM to 10 AM, and I'm kinda old for midnight sight seeing!
