Over-inflating drysuit. Why is it bad?

Thanks for the links. The pic is hilarious! You guys need pee valves and you wouldn't get so bloated by the end of the dive! LOL

I use argon when I dive helium and usually don't bother at other times. Since I don't keep much gas in my suit it doesn't seem to keep me much if any warmer than air. I don't put helium in the suit though. I fill my own argon. The on;y shop around here who has it does so only in the winter.

I was originally taught to use the suit for buoyancy control. It works ok if your weighted right. I never seen a big problem with it untill I used doubles and was carrying much more weight. In recreational equipment by the time you add enough air to the suit to get rid of some of the squeeze you're about neutral and don't need to add much to the wing so it seems pretty academic. The principle is sounf though and once you start using the wing though I doubt you'll go back to using the suit.
