So is anyone going to Our world underwater scuba show Feb 15th-17th? Just wondering, as I am going for the weekend. Will be staying at the Hyatt. Hope this is worth traveling to Chicago in the cold. Anyone been before and if so what did you think?

It's supposed to be a pretty good show. Looks like a nice lineup. I was thinking about going, but when I added up the cost of the hotel, conference and gas I decided I'd pass on it again. I would like to eventually get up there to see it, but it's just not in the cards again this year.

I'll probably go. I have a friend I can stay with :D

I've been going the last couple of years and I will probably be there this year. It's a great show and I always run into other divers that I know. I'm local so I don't have to worry about a hotel and I could even get there by public transportation. Of course if it's too cold I'll drive so I won't have to walk quite as far.

I hope to enjoy the weekend. I am going to roatan this summer and would like to look at new equipment to buy. I am always looking for an excuse to buy scuba gear! For those of you who have gone is there enough there to stay entertained for the weekend?

You have a friend!!?? No way! :D

Did I hear an offer from Beth to offer us housing for a very small fee?

For future years, is this easily accessible from either the "el" or CTA bus? Just got back from a three day weekend in Chicago and I think that is the best way to get around town. Didn't totally figure out the "el" system but we made it where we needed to be on time. $12 for a 3 visitors pass with unlimited use...can't beat it.

Planning on getting up there if my foot is good enough, having surgery the beginning of Jan and Dr said should be good in 6-8 weeks:(. If I'm not able to get around to good then will have to plan for the following year.

Oh for the love of God Gtaylor I told you I would push you in a wheelchair:angel_2:
Or don't you trust me:sgrin: Ctaylor can push at night while I hit the night life.
