Also called the "Toasty 'O'" because of a big fire she had on board in '66 during the war in Vietnam that killed 44 of her crew.
AKA as USS Zippo, for the frequent electrical fires from ancient flaky asbestos wiring. When I was on the big O in 1972-73 a couple fires a week was the norm. They generally stopped as soon as the electricians mate found the right breaker.

At least the power will be forever off when they finally sink her! To dive such a ship, with so much known history, will be nothing short of incredible.

Of course, at the rate things are going, my first dive on her is going to be a deep trimix penetration dive, and I am not even Intro Cave certified yet!
