I use my Inbox as a "To Do" list also. After I've dealt with whatever, it either gets deleted or moved to one of five long term storage folders. I scan the headings of the Junk folder before deleting it all to make sure there's nothing I really need. I also immediately delete most bulk mail from known senders. I don't care to be on anyone's joke list or to be warned of the latest scam. I do this every day as long as I'm somewhere with computer access, but then I am a little OCD that way.
