👏
🤩
With its powerful green laser beam, the Orcatorch D570 ensures excellent visibility in various diving conditions, allowing instructors to effectively communicate and point out details underwater.

A few questions -
  1. Does the laser stay on once the button is pressed or does it go off once the button is released? I would imagine that a laser would be used only momentarily and sparingly so the mechanism to activate it would be a spring loaded button that needs continuing pressure to stay on … (I don’t know what such a kind of button is called but I’ve seen them a few times on some electronics)
  2. What is the run time with only laser on? Say for example lost-at-sea scenario and it’s night time and you don’t want to drain the battery within a few hours but use the red or green laser version to signal and draw attention to yourself … how many hours would it last if only laser were activated?
Thanks for your inputs on this.

(The reason I am considering a red laser torch and not any other - I am not a dive guide and have no other use for a laser)

PS : I am looking for a torch to buy next fortnight on my trip in Jakarta - any dealers there?
