Am I missing something? I don’t see any review. What did you think of the light? did it work like you wanted. Issues or concerns with it?

These are great for critter-pointing on night dives. The laser pointer actuates when you hold the button down and goes off when you release it, whether the light is on or off. If you have a buddy who sometimes paddles off on their own, you can carefully put the laser on the bottom to get their attention. (She knows who they is.) Feels very solid, very compact, battery life is excellent, and it comes with a spare 18650. The only downside is that the light has just one brightness level.

Wonder if catfish and dogfish will chase the laser...

Yes, fish will chase the laser, very interesting, but please don't use lasers to shine the fish's eyes,, it will scare them.
You can point the laser at other places and it will attract fish to follow you.
You can check out this youtube video of the D570. The video shows some small fish chasing the laser.

The green laser is designed mainly for underwater guidance by diving instructors. The diving light is a two-in-one diving light with white light and laser. The laser and white light operate independently, and the green laser can be activated when needed. We also encourage everyone to avoid exposure to underwater creatures when using green lasers. Our orcatorch brand has always advocated the concept and principle of environmental protection and protection of underwater life. :D
