Photon Torpedo for long burn and bullet-proof construction, reliability, and incomparable service record.

OxyCheq 3w Raider backup for brightness, compactness and coolness.

Best of both worlds, neither will break the bank, your instructor should approve of both.

You may also want to look at our back up light. It has a twist for no and off is made of aluminum and we carry several color variations such as: black, silver, blue and a light gray which will be on the website tonight! Check it out under new arrivals for the light gray or monthly specials for our other back up lights " Piranha Dive Manufacturing "

The is rated for 330ft so you won't have any problems and we test each light before leaving our warehouse to you to ensure trouble free use.

I can tell you this light one of the broightest little back up lights I've seen for quite some time. Good luck in your choice and if we can be of any help please feel free to contact us anytime to discuss.

Regards
Randy

Plus it looks extremely similar to the Oxycheq...???

I would second/third the Oxycheq 3w LED raider I. It is a heck of a light for $60. Puts out a great deal of light for what it is, and is nice and compact.

It will be even better with the use of a Light Sock

Me Like it!!!

OK, a vote for the Photon Torpedo. Maybe I'm a Star Trek fan, but this light has handled more abuse than any other light I've had and keeps on ticking. It uses 3 c cell batteries (you can get these anywhere, not so sure about the specialty batteries). Of course I think it is only warranted to about a 1,000' or so:shakehead:. It has a tighter focus beam than some, but plenty bright for me... yeah, I use it as a primary in many situations. It is great in low vis with particulates.
