Well in the comming year I'll be moving into to technical diving much more. Since I live right next to Wreck Valley why the heck not? Anyways, I've heard great things about a bunch of lights but I need some help. Which brands should I check out and how much power would be appropriate for cave/wreck penetration? I just landed a new job (fresh outta college now) so I'll have a bit more money to play with these days. :D

A can light is what you want to be looking at. Currently the 'best of the best' is the 21w varieties, and those will take you all the way no matter what you do. Do a search here and on thedecostop.com and you'll find a ton of stuff about these.

Thanks, I'm definately looking for a canister light, and from what I am reading here on the board 21w seems to be the prefered light. Dive Rite's lights appear pretty good and I am please with other products I own from them. Anyone have opinions on Dive Rites lights?
