OMS Slipstreams are a great rec and tech fin for either dry or wet suit applications!

I also like the old tried and true Mares Quattros as a general do all fin.

I love my Diverite Fins, they're not heavy but are stiff and work well in current. They're also reasonably priced. I personally have not tried the OMS Sipstreams. Good luck with your decision.

Ive recently changed to Turtles for my drysuit diving. They're heavy and very stiff and find them great in currents and when carrying bulky gear.

Also use Avanti X3s - cheap and effective (reason i got turtles is due to a new suit with bigger boots).

Ive tried and hated force fins and cant even begin to describe how completely useless i thought split fins were in currents or with lots of gear.

I dive cold water with a HP120 steel tank and a 4mm compressed neoprene drysuit. For single tank split fins is not an issue either with regards to silting, turning or getting forward IMO.
Backwards however I cant speak out of my own experience as I never was any good at it with any fin..

I hear that. I use Slipstreams for everything now (XL wet, XXL dry) but I don't have the heart to get rid my old Quattros. We had some good times together :)

Shortly after I transitioned to doubles I realized my old fins were just too flexible. They just didn't transfer enough leg power to the water resulting in me being tired and not being able to keep up. So, for dry suit I bought a pair of turtles. They work very well but are too big for my wet suit bootie.

For that I bought a set of OMS Slipstreams that I was going to try out on my recent trip. But, an injury prevented that so all I can say is that I thought enough of the recommendations to spend some money.

Jet fins for the dry suit, caving, and wreck/tech diving on the NC coast. Twin Jets otherwise. Those dang twin jets will spoil you though. Jumped in with absolutely ripping current this weekend of the NC coast in dry (even in the summer) and tech gear and jet fins off the stern. Thought I would never get to the hang line to pull forward. I'm glad I run 21 miles per week!

As I was pushing myself, my doubles and an Al80 stage around on Thursday, I realized how grateful I was to my heavy, stiff Jet fins. I want as much of the effort I put into my kick transmitted to the water as possible!
That is the crux of the dilemma, the Jets are heavier and the Slipstreams are stiffer, you have to choose one or the other.
