i have no personal experience with dive rite equip. but i have been looking at the dive rite RG3 ice regs. they appear to be at least a similar design to the apeks xtx50 i was considering buying. if i am correct, this rg3 model is discontinued and was replaced by the xt1/xt2 which looks even more like the xtx50. but i can get one for a good price. any advice appreciated. should i be concerned at all that it was discontinued ?

edit.....i was advised by someone i trust that dive rite is not the company it once was and their products are not the quality they used to be. not too sure if this statement would apply to the regs or not. always interested in others opinions so please share yours
