In particular, I am considering the Genesis Sirene. I did a search on the board and found only a few posts that mentioned it, and couldn't get much of a sense of users' experiences with this BCD. (I also Googled it and found a few positive reviews, but not a ton of info.)

Has anyone used one? Does anyone know about Genesis products in general?

Thanks.

I have used the Sirene, but despite the good fit and comfort, I decided not to buy because it's (in my opinion) a beginner's BC, and it did not have enough for me. I'm looking at intro tech ones now, but the short story is that it did not have enough D rings for me. It's very comfy, and a good fit. I'm 5'2" and a bit top-heavy. The weight pockets are sturdy, and easy enough to modify while in the water, on your own. If I did not have an experience where I needed a place to clip something and was unable to find one, I would probably own one now.

Thanks for the feedback! FYI (for anyone who searches for info on this BCD in the future), I got a medium Sirene from LeisurePro for $285 (plus shipping). After adjusting the straps to make it longer (I am 5' 11" and about 150 lbs., with a long torso), I was pleased with the fit except for the fact that the integrated weight pockets stuck way out on the front when I had the cumberbund on snug. I've rented probably twenty different BCDs in my time, and this was the first time I'd ever encountered that kind of fit issue. It looked like it would definitely add drag to my profile (esp. with weights in those pockets), so I sent it back to LeisurePro and got a refund.

I then tried a medium Oceanic Hera at my local dive shop - they actually have some brand new ones in their rental line - and on land, it fit much better than the Sirene; the weight pockets were close to my body. Took it into the pool and loved it. And though its sticker price was about twice what the Sirene was at LeisurePro, our shop discounted it since my husband was also buying a BCD and a reg, so it ended up being about $450. Very excited about it.
