It depends on the depth of the wreck. Wetsuits compress at depth, so even if you wore a 7mm suit, you might only have 2 or 3 on the wreck, and it wouldn't insulate worth anything.

One of the advantages of a drysuit is that they keep their full insulating capacity regardless of depth because you inflate them to compensate for ambient pressure, which prevents the insulation from compressing.
