If anyone is looking to holiday in NZ and want to gain their open water ticket while they're at it, let me know. Also, if you are looking for a fun dive trip, I would be happy to orgainise it all for you.

The company I have been studying with are offering some great deals for the coming summer season here in Christchurch, NZ. We have some great locations available for training or pleasure - From crystal clear mountain lakes to wildlife rich coastlines.

I'm going to be a qualified PADI OWSI mid Novemeber and would be more than happy to help anyone gain their certifications through PADI courses. I will also have my Specialty instructor rating and possibly MSDI rating by then also.

Cheers

Packhorse:
I bet the water temp is quite tropical in ChCh this time of year :)
Yeah probably a high 5 degrees or so:D . I bet the lakes are around 1 or 2.

No I never have. In fact almost all of my diving has been in Fiji. I have a 7mil suit now though so am dying to get out more in NZ:D

Oh you are missing out. I find tropical diving to be quite average compared with NZ diving:D
I have done a little bit of diving in the Marlborough sounds but thats about as close as I have been to where you are.
The Lermontov is a great dive. It generally has bad viz but it's a sweet dive. Nothing beats diving on a sunken cruise liner;)
