I work the front desk in the corporate office of a bank. We also happen to have a branch with tellers, customers, etc. in the same area.

The thread on Scuba lingo reminded me of something that happened to me today:

I was trying to e-mail a PDF file to someone rather rapidly so I could leave to catch my bus tonight. It soon became apparent that it was corrupted (a 6.4 meg file soon became an 84 meg file), and my friend had the original with her that I would have needed to re-create it. I called her on her cell phone, she asked me what exactly the problem was (she is IS, I think she thought maybe she could talk me through it), and in my exasperation I answered far louder than I meant to-

"I don't know, but every time I touch it, it gets bigger!"

The lobby went silent and I looked up to find several very curious male customers & tellers looking at me curiously.

One of my friends who had been at my desk trying to help me had to tell me exactly what I had said :11:

 That's too funny. Thanks for sharing it.

Whoops. That a big uh-oh on your part!
