I'm back on land sitting in the San Jose (Costa Rica) airport ready to make the first leg of my journey back to Cozumel.

The very short version is that it was an amazing trip and I never ever imained being totally surrounded by literally hundreds of hammerheads! WOW...what a rush and what a beautiful sight!

I wil be facing a mountain of catch-up when I get back to the island (which will be more manageable thank to Sally! She is incredible and took care of my e-mails while gone! I will get a trip report and photos posted as soon as I can. Photography was quite a challenge with the water conditions...but I have a few photos worth sharing...at least to show you what's there.

Time to board!

Hammerheads, lucky you. I hope you got some good pictures.

One hammerhead would be thrilling but if I was surrounded by hundreds I would need to change my wetsuit for the next dive:D

How was the vis and current?

Have a safe trip home. Looking forward to the photos and more details. Sue Sue

Can't wait for the trip report and photos!

Glad you had a good trip, you deserve to have the fun as busy as you are all the time. We will see you in a couple of weeks so you can tell us all about your great adventure.

Looking forward to it

Sounds cool! I would love to see 1 hammerhead much less hundreds. Did you get to see any mantas or whale sharks like you wanted?

Have a safe and uneventful trip back to Cozumel.

So glad you had a great trip! I'm looking forward to seeing your photos and reading your trip report. I'm sure your photos are amazing (as always).
