It's a date, I'd love to. When money permits I'll hit you up. I have a dry suit. Summer temps? Here it's currently 16.

It’s boat diving and I go with a local group associated with the university. Summer temps are up to about 22 at the surface, bottom temp usually gets up to about 18-19. Right now it’s a balmy 8 degrees.
 
I did consider the month of May, but I've booked a dive vacation elsewhere for next month. What would be the best time of the year and what is the water temperature in Okinawa? I've heard Japan is still strict on COVID? Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
