Once bitten....

Ok freshly back from Turks and Cacios and now have my AOW. *cheer* The Clubmed dive staff was great, take a look at my trip report if you want to know about it.

So for those that don't know, I did my OW referal and my AOW down there that week. Wasn't planning on doing my AOW but the staff was just that good, and I felt really comfortalble with their teaching style and knowledge. I must say I have been bitten by the bug pretty bad!!!! I like it underwater better... people can't complain. (Or if they do, I can't hear them)

So, I am looking for some people to dive with, I am going to join up with the Atlantis Rangers group here soon, and I am planning on getting some more dives in as many places as I can convince a buddy of mine to go.

Just opening an offer to living in the MD/VA area, if your looking for a dive partner or planning a trip give me a shout.

Congratulations Celtic, I just got my AOW as well (in Florida). It was a lot of fun.

I dived Turks and Caicos, Beaches resort. Damn, the strictest dive club I ever dived with. Pre-dive screening, octapus at 20ft plus a deco bar at 20ft with full secondary BC and tank setup. Very safe indeed, nice diving.

10 years ago with Club Med. I too had a good time. Hard to beat the vis! Did JoJo the dolphin vist you or is it history? JoJo swam into and out of our dives almost daily. Neat to see such a big animal up close.

Hey....
Diving Gal and I are planning a Lake Rawlings dive on Sunday 30 May if you ... or
anyone is interested. Plan to leave early in morning from NC and get there around 9am or so.....spend most of the day and drive back.

Rich Fired you back an email, Me and my dive buddy will be there....

JOJO is getting up there in years, we didn't see him when we were diving, but we did have 2 dolphins checking us out when we were doing our multi-level computer profile for AOW... they stayed about 10 feet from us the entire dive, till we hit the shelf at 40 feet, then they lost intrest...

As for JOJO, he now charges boats to scare the crap outta skippers. While we were there one actually killed the engines cause they thought they ran him over. Dolphin with a death wish, go figure....

Shaka, very similar setup at Club med, no BC but octos and bars on both sides of the boat.

Those of us still working on mastering BC control, need them bars....
