I didn't necessarily mention a pie, but if it's a pie you crave ... you can put the cherries whereever you desire. Your pie, your call.

OMG, I know what you mean ... I have turned my house upside down for chocolate tonight and NOTHING! So ... had to use my imagination.

i'm not in the mood for chocolate, though. do you mind if i suggest a second diversion, for those who find the first too rich?

spring has finally arrived in virginia, the night air is warm, and i'm dreaming of an endless flow of veuve cliquot. accompanied by a platter of spring and summer fruits -- ripe peaches, juicy mangoes and sweet, sweet strawberries. mmmm.....

I think we need a diversion with all the serious stuff going on with the world right now and it's late and I'm craving chocolate.
Warm, gooey, melted milk chocolate ... maybe with some marachino cherries and marshmallow cream to go along with it. Some hot caramel sauce sounds yummy, too.
Does anyone want to join me????
