I saw in OMS's catalog they have a new regulator. Is it any good???

my local oms dude said it hasn't been released yet.... typical oms.... advertise the hell out of it then not release it for another six months...

It is supposed to be the ultimate in breathing efficiancy. I tested a lesser breathing effort than the poseidon xstream, (which I have used and is really easy to use).
They also advertise a removable cover that can be taken off underwater, should the occassion arise.
There are two versions of it (not both in the catalog- i don't think), a piston and a diaphragm. Both environmentally sealed.
And from what I heard the reg is supposed to be a better price than the ATX100 or 200

Better breathing than this, better capacity than that, better characteristic than this...
In reality it's complete BS. The hype the crap out of their stuff, and then don't release it for 6 months. Or ever. And when it does come out, you have to wonder why they even bothered. Who ever needs a 100 lb wing anyway? Or slobwinders. Shudder.
