I am wondering if anyone has an OMS Single Cylinder 32lb or a HOG 32lb singles wing wing who could do me a favour by measuring the cam band slots? These are the wings in question:
OMS Single Bladder, Single Cylinder BC - 32 lb [BC-116-32B/R] - The Scuba Doctor Dive Shop - Buy Scuba Gear & Scuba Diving Equipment
HOG 32 lb Wing for Single Cylinder Diving
I am looking for a wing that has cam band slots that match up with the slots on my backplate. In effect it is the vertical spacing of the slots that is probably the most important measurement. The slots on the HOG wing look very long and therefore I guess more likely to match up with my backplate slots. THe OMS ones look like they may not be much longer than the width of the 2" cam band webbing, making alignment more crucial.
If someone has one of these wings handy (along with a tape measure) what I want is the measurement of the vertical distance between the top and bottom cam slots, centre to centre (I guess the easy way of doing it would be to measure from the top of one cam band slot down to the top of the cam band slot directly below it).
On second thoughts I guess I would also be interested in the horizontal spacing between the slots but I think this would be less crucial. And while we are at it probably wouldn't hurt to know the actual length of the cam band slots themselves (hope I'm not asking too much!
)
Will be forever grateful if anyone can help!
