Hi guys.
I just picked my new light, and decided to write up a quick first impressions.
Tl;dr: It's super nice and beefy.
It's Omer's latest scuba/spearfishing light.
It comes in a nice hard case
The content are:
Torch
2 switches, one spring loaded installed, one scuba with rubber grommets to prevent accidental turning on.
Switch stopper
Bungee lanyard
Battery and Micro USB cable.
Price was 120€ for the whole package.
The case is easily modifiable so you can leave the small stuff at home, and carry only what you need.
The torch sits nicely in hand. For reference I wear XL gloves
The switch is plastic and easy to disassemble for cleaning.
Once the torch is closed there are no points of ingress.
There are 4 orings. 2 for the head assembly, 2 for the tail assemblythe battery sits separately from the head and it's accessed by removing the butt plate.
And you charge it through the body,
So there's no need to carry additional chargers.
It uses a huge 5000mAh battery with 3hrs ouf autonomy at full 1200lumen.
The beam is super nice and tight.
This is in a fully blacked out room.
And in a brigh room.
This should serve well for low visibility and night dives imho.
Still didn't had the chance to get it wet and test it.
Here are the specs.
Anyway, I'll update when I get it wet as to what are the impressions.
