SO I was sitting here a bit bored at work. I had a pair of demo fins that Omega had given us to test for them. I have had alot of people extremely interested in a split fin version of the flip fins....So, I decided to make some:cool2:

I just cut these tonight, but I will get them in a pool this Thursday and the following Monday to give them a go. Omega had said they had issues with the splits tearing when they made them. It seems pretty durable to me, but only time will tell.....

I need to clean up the edges a little before the pool....

Here are the pics...taken from my cellphone:

I can't wait to see how these do! Thank you for risking the fins, as well as posting the experiment! You're my new hero!

Can I be the European Beta Tester :rofl3:

I tried the regular ones and the only problem I had was it was difficult making beach entrys..also I did not have enough weight /power behind me (I'm a 5'4" woman) to get the fins to lock down easy..I sold them to a male co worker who loved them..
