I would agree with Phil on this one 1.33x never really occurs even in salt water. However a port that is 70mm diameter is a bit easier to stick into places than one that is 170mm. My point was more about the optical quality on the same account the dome when zoomed looses the superior edge hence you can't see a great deal of difference
Generally going around trying to shoot small things with a wide port is difficult, if it was a 100mm dome would be less of an issue but 70mm is even better
