Appreciate advice on common om-1 settings 1. for wide angle and
2. macro

Would also be grateful for any advice on base settings when using the camera with inon z240 strobes and the flash mode on the camera

Watching with interest. I once had a divemaster take our TG-6 from me underwater, change a couple of things, and then take what turned out to be the best wide angle photo it's ever shot. I thought I had it optimized for underwater photos but his color depth of the two of us with a huge sea turtle was an order of magnitude better. By the time I looked at that day's photos we were back on the cruise ship and it was too late to ask what he'd done.

Hoping to learn some magic here for our brand new TG-7!

A good question, but you probably want to start a different thread, as the OM-1 and the TG-7 are very different cameras.

My TG-7 says "OM System" on it so I presumed a connection.

$149... there's got to be some less expensive material out there. I don't mean to sound cheap, but ooof.

1. I cant really give any advice on wide angle because I only do macro.
2. The following are the settings that I use for all of my photos. On my camera I set the C1 mode to the following settings and don't touch it.

Shutter speed: 200 - 320
Aperture: 8
ISO: 200

Feel free to checkout my instagram to see some of my photos (@olieturner3). All of these photos were taken with the OM-1 with a 60mm or 90mm (more recently a 90mm) and as far as lighting I use either a single Backscatter MF-2/snoot or a single Marelux Apollo III/SOFT Lite Snoot.

Yes, same manufacturer, but very different features and settings.
Fun fact, the OM-1 that came out a few years ago is the last model to have the name "Olympus" on the front of it. Since the switchover to OM Systems all future models have "OM System" on the front.

Just followed you back. Sorry for not noticing and didn't do it earlier. You have beautiful images.
