Olympus Stylus 300 - Affordable camera and housing

Im still deciding between getting a Canon A510/20 and the underwater case which can cost me $350

vs

the Olympus stylus 300 and the UW case that'll cost me only $250.

Tell me if Olympus is the wiser choice.

I just bought my GF the Oly 500. Case and camera were under $400 and are even lower now. Takes decent pics and has a very fast cycle time. Had it at 130 plus and no problems.

looks like the pictures are pretty decent. although the only downside here is it doesn't have the video feature. (which i may use sometime w/ a bigger memory card)
