Anyone try the E-PL1 with a Sea & Sea YS-90DX? Is it TTL compatible? I'd hate to buy another strobe, so any info as to how to get these two to talk would be appreciated.

I never had much luck triggering the YS-90 optically for TTL flash on some older Olympus cameras. The E-PL1 will be worse, because it has 2 pre-flashes close together prior to the main flash. The sensor in the YS-90 could not follow the flashes, and the strobe worked only in manual. It was actually quite usable that way though. It would trigger optically for the main flash, and you can adjust the power level on the flash as you prefer. I think you are probably stuck with manual on that flash, but it's got the 12 level settings.

You'll learn heaps more shooting manual strobes underwater, than you ever will shooting S-TTL. You'll finally be in control instead of a camera/strobe combo that were never designed to work together!

Actually for this strobe/camera combo the 10Bar E-PL1 housing makes better sense. I set up a diver with one and we just went to electrical sync as the housing has both. Manual control only.
