Is diving a sport? If so it should be represented in the Olympics.
It could be pretty cool, navigation through a course (with and/or without silt), how deep can you dive and how long, (air only, mixes, you know). Underwater marksmen? I think there is something here. Wreck penatration? OK, I'll just go watch the woman's volleyball.

Air consumption.

ehhh it doesnt sound right to me... diving isnt really a sport to me. unless you consider hiking an olypic sport.... i think diving is more about exploration by means of using a LOT of equipment, not really a SPORT. i think also a lot of people would get hurt.

now free diving is an ENTIRELY different story.... i would like to see some of that.

It is not a sport, but if it was.

C'mon Don - you don't mean the ordinary volleyball now, do you? Surely it's called beach volleyball........;)

I would like to be the underwater cameraman that shoots the swimmers going by and the divers' entry into the water. That would be way cool....
