Oly SP-350 & Ikelite DS51

Ok anyone out there want to give a crash course in the marriage of the SP350 & the DS51. Just got it tonight and the manual leaves a LOT to be desired...Is there a basic setting to start out on (both the camera and the strobe)...

Too much fun with the new toy!!!
But with every new toy seems like there is some thing else I should have to go with it.....

I'm probably the wrong person to ask coz you know I'm going to say put it in manual and go I don't use ttl at all but from what I've seen Ike's works really well in some circumstances. I can help with stuff underwater but the tech stuff someone else will have to chime in!

How does the flash fire? Fo you have a fiber optic hook up?

I have the manual ev controller. I have it set by the camera flash and it does fire on the flash....That is as far as I have gotten so far.

according to the instructions of the manual controller the flash has to be set to manual to work properly

try taking a photo in the mirror to check the synch. otherwise fool around with the settings on the controller and the manual camera settings
