Oly Reps???

Is there an Oly rep on this thread? I have a issue with a housing and no one at Oly responds to my emails..

I hope I'm not putting him on the spot, but you might PM Phil Rudin. He seems to use Oly equipment exclusively and has done dive shows as a photog expert. He might be able to point you in the right direction.

I have called the toll free service number trying to get the threaded ring on the front of the lens port; I was told it is a repair issue, not a part that can be ordered. I have three PT-015's and have taken the ring off all three, one time accidentally at depth, and have never had any leaks. I would send in my backup 5050, as the repair is less than a replacement on eBay. I will not send in my housings to have the ring replaced, as spare housings cost much less than repair/shipping.

Call them; it's easier to get a response but you might not like the response. Some housings are hard to find now so factory authorized repair is a viable option.

The sad part is all I need is the little black rubber button covering the shutter plunger. And maybe the o-rings...
