It Frank Whites Dive Store. Try giving them a call.

The dive store is a different entity from the factory.

Thanks Guys....I'll check both out. I'll check them both out. I had heard of the tape at DRIS but wondered if it was the same adhesive for bonding the Whites. I appreciate the input very much.

Thanks grf88,

Was hoping to source Canadian because ups kills us on brokerage, however maybe regular post would work. I phoned Whites again...initially they said no, but are looking into it as I informed them some of you are in fact buying it there. If I have no luck I will go with DRIS. I have talked with them about the Si-Tech seal system and they are very helpful. It's just the low dollar exchange and brokerage that force me to look local first.

DRIS will send it USPS if you ask them. I won't use UPS for cross border shipments either.

Hey Jason,
Not sure if this is what you are looking for. Company is Seaskin, Glues and Accessories for drysuit repars about half way down the page.

Good service, bought a new drysuit zip from them, and just ordered a set of boots. No duty to Canada, and Royal Air Mail is half the price of Canada post. Money conversion is not great $1.88 to 1 GBP.

Hope this helps

Unfortunately this is what is listed under the adhesives you mentioned:
This product due to its flammability is classed as "Dangerous goods" and a shipping charge of £9.60 will apply for orders within mainland UK. We cannot ship this item to outside mainland UK. Please do NOT order if outside mainland UK.

This is also a problem purchasing from the US. Scuba Geek in Ottawa does carry suitable adhesives and they can be shipped within Canada.

Hey grf88, the adhesives can not be shipped, however the heat activated tape can. That said if Scuba Geek has it in stock, that would make more sense. Have purchased several things from him in the past, good service, fair pricing. My 2cents.

I don't believe that tape is the same thing that DRIS sells. The DRIS material is more like a sheet of heat activated adhesive rather than a fabric type tape.
