Try dolphin in sacramento ca They rebuild nearly everything

According to one LDS, when Mares bought Dacor, parts for several regs were discontinued. For the first year or so, they had a trade in offer, but I think that's long gone too.
Unless some shop was really overstocked on parts (and I'm not sure how well they last sitting on a shelf) and you can find the,. you've got some nice "collector's items".

Groundhog is right.

After Mares took over Dacor thay ran an exchange programme for a year and then discontinued all the old Dacor Regs.

The only ones you can get parts for are
Dacor Eagle
Dacor Viper
Dacor Fury

These are all based on Mares kit.

How old is it? There was a recall on the pacer regs made before aug 1979. Did you know that?

As for parts you might try www.mar-vel.com. They stock some out of circulation parts and they might be able to find a compatible alternative for things like the HP Seat.

Bringing back an old thread to the top.

I tried finding parts (1st stage) for a Dacor Fury, and my LDS says they can't get them any more. Anyone know where I can find Dacor Fury parts?

Try these people. This is now about 2 years old:

Older Dacor parts are still available. Scuba Repair Express in Tavernier has plenty
of parts as posted earlier on this site. Mares bought out Dacor as stated in earlier
posts to take over a greater share of the US market. They immediately dropped all
of the older "Dacor" products and replaced them with all Mares made units.
That's why similar products are marketed under different names. We stocked up on
older Dacor parts and still have them in good supply. The regulators and BC's are
all servicable. I would imagine there are others in the industry that did the same
thing so it would just be a matter of finding who has the parts for your particular
regulator. If you have difficulty in finding someone that can service Dacor models
back through the Olympic line give us a call at 1-800-649-4659. Our technicians
are factory trained, we have all the specifications and "factory" parts.
If you're coming to the Keys you can mail your regs to us and we'll have it ready
when you get down here. If you're not coming to the Keys, mail it down and we can
have it back to you within about a week to 10 days depending on how busy we are
at the time. Don't give up, help is only a phone call away.

Good point about getting parts in the future. I might be better off putting it on eBay. Naw... I wouldn't do that, but it's tempting. I might just end up using it as my spare tire inflator along with my Dacor Pacer 300. I'll just retire my old Pacer 300.

As far as having someone else service my regulator... no way!!!! I've seen too much shabby workmanship... too many flipped seats... missing shims... etc...

Yes.. I'm a regulator tech... just not in a Dacor shop...

I am looking for parts to a dacor d4 reg. It's an old 60's model. I've been looking for parts everywhere I can think of. If anybody still dives the real ork horses of the industry, and has knowledge on where to find parts, please help.
Thanks a bunch.
