I have the SL 960 strobe the one that has the knob on the back to tighten down the battery compartment. Anyway I'm leaving soon and didnt have time to order a diffuser on ebay, so I made one using a milk jug and it looks like the one sealife sells but I had to make wings to tuck it behind the yellow rubber cover of the strobe. I wanted to know is the yellow rubber cover just for protection of bumps or dropping it? Because I dont want to tuck the plastic behind it and cause a leak in case its also used to seal the lens.
