I hate to pick your brains and run.... (for an item I'm just selling), but can anyone confirm if this is indeed a Scubapro unbalanced 1st and perhaps the model and years?

"27" stamped in body. Concave end cap and piston face. 3 ports (HP, LP, LP). Fixed HP seat.

The Sportways Waterlung yoke has a Scubapro rubber dust cap.

My "vintage" dive buddy didn't know for sure if it was a Scubapro or what model or what era.

Thanks in advance.

The large diameter piston, small diameter yoke screw and number of ports make it the original Mk 2.

The Mk 3 had a smaller diameter piston and a yoke retainer that screwed into the body Early ones had 3 ports (2 Lp and 1 HP) and a rounded cap. Later Mk 3's had a more squared off cap like the one, 3 LP ports and a larger diameter yoke screw. The Mk 200 had a larger piston and 3 LP ports, while the current Mk 2 went back to the larger piston and had 4 LP ports.

Thanks!

I was assuming the yoke was another make and model, Sportways
Waterlung.

It's not an original Scubapro yoke, is it?

As DA said, that is an early Mk-2 (late 60's or early 70's).

The yoke could be original since they all used the same threads in the yoke screws at that time. The dust cap looks like at least late 70's or early 80's (I cant remember when they changed). The earlier dust caps (early 70's) was a round rubber ball.

The color O-ring also looks like a replacement from later service.

I see "Sportsways" written on the yoke screw, would that have been on a ScubaPro yoke or has someone replaced the screw?

It appears to be a replacement obtained from a Sportsways Waterlung regulator similar to one presently pictured on Vintage Scuba Online's site:

Vintage Scuba Online. Sea Hunt, Voit, Healthways, Sportsway, Aqua Lung and More!

Luis suggested the yoke itself may be original.

I appreciate the info guys! :)
