Here is a thread in which we talked about diving it:

One thing led to another and I never got to do it, but it sounds fun under the right conditions.

We were going to do that like 6 months ago. But that site kept getting "F's" in water quality on the LA County site. So do check the latest water quality before you go. There is a nice structure there which can be seen on satilite images. Some of the breakwall is observable from the bluff.

I'm still game. Melvin, are you up for a mile swim?

Hey, I'm in. When?

This is local for me. I am so there. When?

I read somewhere that they were closing the pier to all fishing for a clean up of some type........opportunity knock.......we answer.

I'll look for the post or article tomorrow.

Melvin,

That's the date of the Wrinkles Dive in Redondo Beach, so you might get a group of people that are attending that next Saturday to make that one of the dives of the day, since they're already in the area and using Vet's Park as a home base.

Just a thought.
