Hi Guy's
Some of you may know me from the old DL board so Hi ti you. I was scuba nc over there.
Anyway, hello to you all and to those who know me please bring me up to speed.
For those who dont know me, I have been doing this for a few years and may find me kind of forward in my comments but thats OK, no hard feelings..
Anyway, hello and if any of you dive North Carolina chime in and lets do some deep Offshore suff. I use double 100"s with a 30 pony. I like offshore stuff that is not so much deep but less visited to put it mildly, which normaly means deep.
Most of the time I dive solo and honestly I had rather dive solo than with a buddy( to many VERY BAD THINGS WITH A BUDDY).
Anyway Hello and lets go get wet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Howdy!

And welcome to SB - the biggest, the best, the fastest growing, and :D the friendliest!
Glad to have you join us. I see that you've found our NC forum, and we have on on Solo Diving, as well.

I used to think I was an pretty good diver until my incident on the Papoose last month. I had lots of back up plans, but went thru them too quickly. Swam out of it okay, better than a diver on my Florida Keys boat last weekend, but it was humbling. Have since changed my pony to a sling, at least, and I'm being more careful.

It would help in future diving discussions if you'd complete your Dive Info. You can use the Quick Links above to reach those easily. Sizing a photo for your profile or Avatar can be a challenge; I'm a fumbling amateur, but I get the job done, if you'd like any help?

PM me if I can help you learn your way around; that is - click my username to the upper left, then follow the prompts to send me a "Personal Message." :thumb:

WELCOME to ScubaBoard!!!
You won't be the only forward, abrupt,
blunt, opinionated, obstreperous person
on the board; and not to worry, we have
MODS to keep us in some semblance of
decorum, should we choose to maverick
too far afield.
