11 years of no use, that's worse than 11 years of use.

Oh it is not. Jeez...

There's nothing about using regulators for diving that helps the o-rings. Far from it. That said, eleven years is a long time and since the dive gear industry seems to be fixated on the absurd idea that regs need servicing every year regardless of use, I imagine you'll never find a shop that would just check the IP and cracking pressure and send you on your way. So, bite the bullet and have it serviced once by someone qualified, keeping in mind that the "certification" for servicing regs is nothing more than employment at a dive shop and a one day seminar that nobody fails. So, the most challenging part is finding someone that will do a good job. If you have time, I'd consider sending the reg to DA Aquamaster on this forum. That way you know it will be done correctly and you can probably dive it for several years before getting it serviced again.
